Travel clinic service

If you are travelling abroad, please make sure you contact us in plenty of time to arrange any vaccinations which may be necessary.

To assess your need, please complete our travel risk assessment form (see link below) and return this to us 6 weeks before you travel.  On receipt, our team will review the information you have provided and inform you of any NHS travel vaccinations which are recommended. You can find out more about the vaccinations available on the NHS by clicking here.

Where younger patients are travelling, we may need to bring forward their scheduled primary immunisations to meet World Health Organisation travel recommendations for their trip.

For vaccinations which are not provided on the NHS such as rabies or protection against malaria, you will need to contact a private travel clinic.  These are offered by local pharmacies such as Boots and Superdrug.  You can review the likely need for such by checking the country you are travelling to on the Travel Health Pro website.  Click here for access to this.

Please click here for our travel assessment form to complete and return to us in person, by post or via nwicb.mail.heathgate@nhs.net

Enjoy your travels and keep safe.
