The breast screening unit which was in Poringland in the spring has now left the area.  For patients that missed their appointment or are outside the screening age but can request screening once every three years, should call the screening team on 01603 287777. 

Opening times

Heathgate Surgery Poringland

Our surgery in Poringland is open Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.

Between 6pm and 6.30pm, we remain available via the telephone.

On Fridays, we close between 12.30pm and 2pm for staff training and development.

Our Practice is participating in an Extended Access Scheme providing additional access to different health care professionals.  Working within a group of nine local Practices, between us, we offer a range of appointments between 6.30pm and 8pm weekdays, some early mornings from 7am and between 9am and 5pm on Saturdays, from at least one of the participating Practice sites.  Please contact our reception team for more details. 

Rockland St Mary Surgery 

Our branch site at Rockland St Mary is open:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30am to 12 noon and 2.30pm to 5pm.

When the surgery at Rockland St Mary is closed, a full range of services is available at our Poringland site.
