Travel clinic and vaccinations (including the completion of a travel service questionnaire before your appointment)
Stop press - due to national restrictions on some travel vaccinations, we may not be able to provide all recommended vaccinations. We will advise you whether you are affected when we assess your completed travel questionnaire.
Thank you for your interest in our travel clinics.
Using the NHS 'fit for travel' website, we provide NHS vaccinations which are recommended and required for safe travel to your chosen destination. We are unable to provide specialised travel advice.
We are able to provide the following NHS vaccinations at no direct cost to the patient:
- Hepatitis A
- Diphtheria, tetanus and polio (as a combined vaccination)
Hepatitis B vaccinations, Rabies vaccinations and Malaria tablets are available if recommended, but on a private basis where a fee will be payable. We will provide a range of alternatives for Malaria tablets and you can take your choice on your preference. Our malaria medication leaflet is here.
Click here for a list of the private travel fees payable. For other vaccinations, such as Yellow Fever, you will need to visit a specialist travel centre. We will be able to help direct you to one.
It will be necessary for you to book an appointment with one of our nurses and to help them identify the vaccines that you may require, we will the return of a travel service questionnaire up to a minimum of 7 days before your appointment.
If you are unsure of your travel requirements, we would suggest your initial appointment is up to 6 weeks before travel. If you have booked a 'last minute' trip, then we will try and help with your vaccinations schedule but may be limited to those we can provide over a short period of time.
You can download a copy of the questionnaire by clicking here.
You can take a look at the NHS 'fit for travel' website by clicking on the area of travel below.
We hold most of the NHS travel vaccinations in stock and so we should be able to administer them during your visit. If a course is required, it may be necessary to visit us again for subsequent vaccinations.
