The breast screening unit which was in Poringland in the spring has now left the area.  For patients that missed their appointment or are outside the screening age but can request screening once every three years, should call the screening team on 01603 287777. 

Flu vaccines - 2025

Our 2025 flu vaccination programme commences on 1st October 2025.

We will be holding our usual community clinics at the Poringland Community Centre on Saturday 11th and 25th October.  No appointment is needed so please come along between 9am and 1pm.  We expect a high uptake of patients across the two days, so please help us manage demand by spreading your attendance across the two days.

Saturday 11th October - surname A to M and Saturday 25th October surname N to Z.

If you are unable to make the specific Saturday, please don't worry and attend when you can.  If you are unable to make either of these dates, please call the surgery and we will allocate an appointment in one of our catch up clinics.

For those patients eligible, we will also be offering Covid Booster vaccination on these days.  Click here for the autumn eligibility for such.  It has changed this season.
